Bunny’s Rabbits Slot
2 votes

Bunny’s Rabbits combines many of the traditions of the Aristocrat slot range with some unique twists that have served to make it an outstanding game in its own right, appealing to players through a quirky theme and some gameplay elements that haven’t been seen before. It remains a land based exclusive so you won’t find the full version online anywhere, whether you happen to be in Australia or anywhere else, but that certainly doesn’t matter here at Mr Gamez as we’ve given Bunny’s Rabbits the very same treatment as all of the other Aristocrat games with a dedicated alternatives page, which you can find out all about at the end of the review. With that coming up, let’s see what Bunny’s Rabbits has going for it as a standalone game!

Bunny’s Rabbits Theme

One way in which Aristocrat has always managed to draw in players to its new games is by making them substantially different to the rest and while all of their slots have similarities, this one takes things in a different direction and that all starts with the theme. We may be used to fantasy themes in the online world, with the likes of Microgaming and their Rhyming Reels series always managing to keep players on their toes. However, the theme itself is somewhat unique in Aussie casinos and you don’t get too many chances to encounter knights, dragons and more on the reels. They’re bold and simple in true Aristocrat fashion and are joined by the unmistakable playing card icons for the lower value winning combinations.

Gameplay and Prizes

One of the biggest changes to the norm on this slot is the reels themselves. Fans will be used to a three row, five reel layout which appears on virtually every Aristocrat game with only minor modifications. Here, however, it’s a different story as there are only four reels and they each contain four symbols. There are ten win lines to bet on, but what makes Bunny’s Rabbits even more unique than other games is that the symbols spin on their own rather than as part of a reel. This effectively means that you could fill the board with the same symbol on every square, making for big, attractive wins in the process. It’s an element of the gameplay that has rarely been copied and so is a great reason alone for checking out Bunny’s Rabbits next time you come across a cabinet and believe us, there are still plenty on the Aussie casino floors.

Features and Bonuses

The reels aren’t the only unique aspect of Bunny’s Rabbits and Aristocrat has grabbed the opportunity to change things up on the features with both hands. No game would be complete without a wild card and the rabbit fills in that role, but we’re more interested in the rose symbol. It acts as a scatter but unlike many that have come before it, you don’t need three in view in order to reach the bonus round. Instead, just one is sufficient and it will lead to a free spins round with up to 25 games on offer. This is no regular round either, as the witch comes into play. She could make her way across the reels at any moment and when she does so, all of the cats, dragons, knights and teapots will magically become rabbits, meaning wild cards! That’s not her only trick either, as these symbols become sticky and will stay exactly where they are for the rest of the round, so you’ll be almost certain of some massive wins towards the end of the bonus feature.

The fact that Bunny’s Rabbits is such a unique slot game could be seen by some as making it difficult to come up with quality online alternatives. However, here at Mr Gamez we’re never the type to shy away from a challenge and we’ve put together what we feel to be the most comprehensive list of Bunny’s Rabbits alternatives around. From the gameplay to the theme, we’re certain that we’ve nailed it and you can check them all out for yourself on the full alternatives page.
