Genting Launches New Live Casino Brand

We’ve often predicted an explosion in the demand for live online casino gaming and while the likes of Playtech and Evolution are the names on everybody’s lips at the moment, Genting has decided to join the fray with the launch of Crockfords Live Casino.

Genting is the name behind not only some of the largest land based casinos in the UK and beyond, but also operates a number of online sites, including their own Genting Casino brand and white label online services to other operators. Now, they are set to make their mark on the live dealer sector with the gCore Live Casino, which is powered by Comtrade Gaming’s existing live casino technology.

The aim of the new live option is to bring all of the land based ideas that Genting is renowned for, such as VIP treatment and a luxurious environment, to live online players. They are looking to achieve this in part by exerting full control over the entire gaming experience. Even the studio itself is located close to one of their own land based casinos, in Mayfair, London.

Peter Nolan, Managing Director of Genting Alderney, echoed the point of the company requiring close control over their live platform, saying: “It is very important for us to have a high quality Live Casino solution which is designed for our VIP customers. Comtrade Gaming were able to deliver game software that replicates the high standards of Genting’s land based clubs. Our online players expect to receive the same exceptional service that they get in our Mayfair casinos.”

With most live dealer casinos catering for the widest possible market and only slight deviancies from this core idea, such as the Playboy Live Dealer option at All Slots Casino, it remains to be seen whether Genting’s live casino catches on with their VIP players. With an established player base to market to, there is every chance of success and the Crockfords brand may well go on to become an essential part of any live casino player’s gaming habits.
