Video Game Series

There’s a number of games on the market which follow established video games and Plants vs Zombies is the latest one of these to appear. There’s a simple, comic-book appearance to the gameboard which is reminiscent of the video game. Daisies with friendly faces line the background in what appears to be a quaint setting but all is not as chocolate box as it seems…. On the reels you’ll find mindless zombies waiting to gobble up your brains so you’ll need to be quick to grab your cash and make your escape!

Playing with the Daisies

If you want to win some cash prizes, you’ll need to get the 5 reels spinning and line up symbols on the 20 fixed paylines in play. It’s not very clear where the paylines are – or even how many there are! – but the daisies in the background help to show the way. You won’t be able to adjust how many paylines to activate but you’ll have the chance to set the bet. The total min bet is just 0.20 while the max bet is 400.00, leaving plenty of scope for both low and high rollers.

You’ll find details of how much you could win on the paytable; click the button on the bottom left of the reels to move between the screens. To get a win you’ll need to line up either one or two symbols but the more you match up, the bigger your payout will be.

Line up Your Bonuses

Zombies may not be renowned for their generosity but in this game you’ll find there’s plenty of extras lined up. And you won’t always need to qualify for a bonus in order to benefit, as some of them appear randomly on the reels. The first of these is the Wild Gargantuar; watch out for the giant footsteps to stamp all over the board, sending many of the reels wild in the process!

Landing two of the bonus symbols together with the cherry bomb opens the Cherry Bomb Free Spins. In this phase all the cherry bombs which appear explode on the screen and reveal the same symbol underneath; you’ll be able to continue playing until the zombies gobble up your brains! If you land the bonus symbols with the zombie sign instead of the cherry bomb you’ll get the Zombie Bonus. To get the bigger payout you’ll need to track down Crazy Dave – once again you’ll need to try to avoid getting your brains eating for a zombie’s dinner… You’ll find a couple more bonus plays and features too but you’ll need to play the game to discover exactly what they are!

Glutton for Punishment

If you defeat the brain-eating zombies and are still keen to play some more, there are other slots on the market which are also inspired by existing games. Peggle is a very popular play, also from Blueprint Gaming, and is based on the popular video game. Featuring 50 paylines and medium volatility, there’s plenty to play for and win! Worms is another similar play, a slot which has the same graphics as the famous video game and has 50 paylines and an RTP of 95.24%.

Classic Fun

Plants vs Zombies is a classic game and Blueprint Gaming have now brought as a slot with a stylish rendition to some new online casinos. Packed with bonus features and extras, the initial appearance may seem to be rather basic but this is just the quirky comic book style. Anyone can follow the gameplay but with so many unusual extras, it’s easier to have a bit of prior experience on the slots first.
