Sensational Graphics

It’s not often that it’s truly worthwhile lingering on the graphics of a game but with Wild Sheriff, it’s certainly due more than a passing mention.

Developer Cayetano have done an incredible job with designing this game with realistic 3D graphics which will blow your socks off.

The reels are housed in an old wooden building, surrounded by nothing but the red dusty desert. With the sheriff leaning casually up against the railings, take a look around the scene. In the background you’ll notice rocky outcrops and canyons, with sparse scrubby plants sprouting out of the arid sandy ground.

An abandoned frontier caravan lies off to one side but look closely and you’ll see signs of an attack, with arrows sticking out of the canvas and wood. This town certainly needs its sheriff….

Just casting your eyes over this opening scene will give you an instant feel for the game, and with the high quality you’ll get the impression that you’ve been plunged instantly into the middle of a film!

Assert Your Authority

There’s only one way to show them who’s boss and that’s to get playing on the reels.

There are 5 reels in Wild Sheriff, with 20 fixed paylines. You can set the value of the stake too but rather than choosing a value per line you’ll be picking an overall stake. This doesn’t make any different to the actual play but it’s much easier for newbies to get the hang on – and rules out any accidental misunderstandings! The minimum total bet is 0.20 while the total max bet is 2000.00.

The sheriff himself is the top value symbol on the reels and if you land five along an active payline you could win 1000.00. To get any prize you’ll need to match at least three symbols. The card symbols are the lowest value paying out between 7 and 40, while the rest of the Wild West icons (excluding the sheriff) pay up to x150.

The theoretical RTP for this game is a fairly disappointing 94.35%.

Go Wild

As well as having a standard wild symbol on the reels, this game includes a number of other extras which can really up the chances of a win.

Wilds can really increase the possibility of scooping a big prize so you’ll be pleased to see the sheriff appear from time to time, intent on shooting up the reels. Everywhere he shoots will transform into a wild symbol and then he will appear on the central reel as a stacked wild. These prizes could be as much as 1000 credits in a single win!

Other than the wilds, there’s also the free spins symbols which could hand you as many as 20 free spins. Any prizes you win during this will be doubled so it could be a big payout if you’re lucky!

Aside from the prizes and extras on the reels, if you’re hankering for a big payout why not gamble with your winnings in a game of chance? You’ll have the option every time you win on the reels but it’s up to you whether you accept the challenge.

All you need to know is predict the colour of the next card to be turned over and you’ll double your money. Experienced slots players will be familiar with the format of this. However, it’s not a play for the faint of heart because if you don’t predict the right colour, you’ll lose your prize. Will you dare to play…..?

Fastest Finger

Wild Sheriff by Cayetano takes the familiar western genre and gives it a spectacular facelift in this online video slot. With outstanding graphics and smooth gameplay, it’s a title many will enjoy. There’s a simplicity to the rules which will suit beginners but the lack of more advanced features may mean that it’s of less interest to more advanced players or those chasing the biggest wins.
