Unique Set-Up

With most slots, asking how many reels there are is a question that’s fairly simple to answer but because of the complex structure to this game, there’s no straightforward response.

Depending on what slot type you want to play, there could be 3, 5 or 7 reels and the number of paylines vary too from just 5 right up to 50!

What you want to play is entirely up to you and your budget, but of course the more you play on the greater your chances of winning and the bigger prizes you could scoop… It might help you decide to know that this is a slot with high volatility and an RTP rate of between 92-94.09%, depending on the number of reels in play. This isn’t a particularly high RTP and the high volatility means prizes will be fewer but generally of greater value.

It’s not just the appearance of the reels which is unusual, you won’t find the standard left to right or right to left combinations here either. Instead, all of the paylines are read from the centre three reels outwards, a confusing approach until you get used to it! The developers have helped to make this easier by creating a tiered spin with the centre reels starting and finishing first with adjacent reels gradually following suit.

A Full Portion of Features

Cavemen were infamous for having big appetites and in this game you’ll certainly never go hungry on features with a full complement available to keep you satisfied.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that dinosaurs and cavemen weren’t the best of friends but on these reels it seems as though they’ve kissed and made up!

If you spot a little green raptor you’re about to be handed the Bone-Us bonus where the number of reels is boosted and you receive up to 8 free spins too.

The fire-wielding cavewoman heralds the entrance of the Dinomite feature. With this you can expect to receive another upgrade with wilds being added to up to 50 paylines.

Keep a special eye out for the dinosaur eggs as these provide more benefits and features when they hatch.

The yellow egg will crack open to reveal a “walking wilds” dinosaur which takes a wander across the reels from one turn to the next, bestowing free spins as long as he’s in sight.

Diplo Dollars is the game which follows a purple egg hatching, handing out up to 20 free spins as well as arriving with stacked wilds and multipliers too.

Very fitting for the hatching of a blue egg, an Ice Age Freeze commences. This not only freezes wilds in place but also offers up to 50 frozen spins too.

Roll Up

As well as a reel full of features, there’s three jackpots which could be won; this feature is only available on the live mode and isn’t emulated on the demo game.

The special jackpot screen will be shown to players randomly but unless the lava within the thermometer has passed the red line, no payouts will occur. If the temperature has risen sufficiently high, there’s three separate jackpots which could be won.

Split into bronze, silver and gold, the jackpots on offer are based on the level of stake being played. The higher the stake, the greater the potential prize could be with the top jackpot seeded at an extravagant 20,000.

Walking with Dinosaurs

Rolling Stone Age by Core Gaming is an online video slot with extraordinary features, and is a game that’s guaranteed to keep even advanced players entertained. Creative and unique, once again Core Gaming have developed a slot which is memorable and fun to play.

There’s high volatility and this combined with the fact that there’s so many side games means that it might be too complex for complete newbies wanting to venture into the world of slots for the first time.
