Blood on the Reels
There’s no point putting off the inevitable: face up to the death and destruction on the reels and play your part in walking away as a winner. There are 5 reels which are set centrally and appear to have been hammered together out of metal. These are set in the middle of a hot, fiery abyss. There’s a maximum of 50 paylines which you can see thanks to the figure being held up by the skeletal remains on poles. You can decide to reduce this if you prefer using the buttons on the bottom of the reels.
If you’re keen to reduce the amount each spin costs, there’s alternatives to just dropping the number of paylines in play. You can also control the amount that each spin costs. There’s between one and five coins which can be bet per play, but you’ll need to set up the amount each coin is worth. The total min bet is 0.50 and the total max bet is 125, based on the number of coins bet. However, with a minimum coin value of 0.01 and a maximum coin value of 0.50, there’s plenty of ways to influence the overall cost to suit both small and big budgets.
Spin the Orcs!
There’s not lots of extra features on this game, so there’s no random multipliers or bonus symbols on the reels which can bump up your prize money. However, there are wilds and scatters which can help you out. If you land a wild it can substitute for any of the other symbols on the board, apart from a scatter, to make it easier to line up a winning combination. Unlike some other games, the inclusion of a wild doesn’t attract an instant multiplier.
However, the scatters provide an even greater reward because if you land three or more you’ll unlock the Orcs’ Wild Free Spins feature. This isn’t exactly a bonus round but is an enhanced version of simple free spins. Players are handed 10 free spins and during these, you’ll want to keep a special eye out for any wilds. Once a wild appears the orcs will immediately jump on it, hammering it to the reel for the rest of the free spins. If you have a few of these, you could find you rack up some very decent prizes during the play.
Pick a Side
If you’ve defeated all of the orcs in this battle, there’s plenty more waiting in the wings to take you on. Orc vs Elf by RTG is an epic adventure which even gives you the option of playing on the same side as the orc! Very reminiscent of Lord of the Rings, you’ll need to choose from the flaxen-haired elves or the brutal force of the orcs before the game launches in full. With 3D effects, 25 paylines and a bonus game, it’s an epic play for anyone who enjoys the fantasy theme.
Emerge as the Winner
Orcs’ Battle from Genesis is a dark game which is best suited to those who enjoy horror themes or are fans of fantasy. With blood-soaked weapons, and ugly orcs waiting to slay all those around, you’ll need to be on your toes to stay alive! You won’t find any bonus features in this game – maybe the orcs ate them up! – so it’s a very basic play which could make it a little underwhelming for more experienced players.
