Spooky Goings On
The symbols used in Hexbreaker 2 are all things to do with the occult and creepy things like that. Okay, so playing card symbols (King, Queen and Jack) aren’t all that sinister, and they pay 5 coins for matching three, 20 coins for matching four and 100 coins for matching five of these symbols on your reels.
But then things do take a turn for the creepy. Mind you, you won’t be cursing your luck if you match three or more of the Broken Mirror, as this will pay up to 100 coins for three or more matches. But the Raven, the most spine-tingling of all birds, will flutter onto your reels and reward you with up to 150 coins if you can stand the freakiness, the (un)lucky Number 13 pays up to 300 coins, and for once in your life you will be hoping that a Black Cat does cross your path – five of them if possible – to secure a payout of 500 coins.
Then, finally, there’s the Hexbreaker symbol, which pays a mighty 500 coins for spinning five of them on your game board.
Are You Jinxed?
As we’ve come to know and love about IGT slot games, there’s also a Wild, a Bonus (the lucky Horseshoe) and a Scatter (the Jinx symbol) to enjoy. Any three scatters on your reels pay 3x your total stake, four pays 20x and five pays a whopping 100x your total bet. Spin a handful and you won’t be feeling Jinxed, that’s for sure. These wins are independent of MultiWay Xtra wins too, and are simply added to the total amount you win for that spin.
The Wild symbol, which will appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 in the main game and in the Free Spins Bonus (more on that shortly), will substitute for all of the other symbols on the board (except the Jinx scatter and the Horseshoe bonus).
Make It Pay
What is brilliant about Hexbreaker 2, and many other IGT powered games for that matter, is its use of the MultiWay Xtra technology. This guarantees that each and every spin has 720 ways in which to win; and naturally this increases your chances of winning a prize of any shape and size.
MultiWay pays out for matching symbols in any position on adjacent columns – whether that is left to right (starting on reel 1) or right to left (starting on reel 5). Match more than one of your symbols on the same reel and your prize will be multiplied. The only downside is that only the highest paying MultiWay combination for each symbol is awarded, but don’t let that get you down as there are still plenty of riches on offer.
If you spin five or more of the bonus symbol, the Horseshoe, then you will be convinced that it is a symbol of good luck. That’s because you’ll be paid 100 coins and trigger the Free Spins Bonus, with 10 freebies in hand.
This will add a bit more spice to your reels, and if you spin five more of the Horseshoe then another 10 free spins will be added to your collection up to a maximum of 260. All free spins are played to the same coin value as that which you had selected on the spin that triggered the bonus. If you wanted to try the game and take advantage of promotion offers from casinos I suggest looking at Leo Vegas, MrGreen Casino or Prime Slots.
So there you have it: Hexbreaker 2 is a spooky old slot game that offers plenty of rewards for players who aren’t afraid to take on the challenge.
