This epic Mazooma video slot game is going to take you to a galaxy far, far away, where big wins await at almost every turn.

In this modern game, you will play the part of a fearless space explorer and go roam the cosmos in the quest for some big wins. Take a Stroll Through Space

Shooting Stars is a very modern slot game that relies on impressive graphics and animations to lure players in – and it worked for us. The action is obviously taking place in deep space, with stars and planet gravitating on the dark cosmic background. The transparent reels spin very smoothly, and the only odd element on the screen is the command bar at the bottom, which sticks to a rather old-school design.

Overall, Shooting Stars made a very good first impression with us. You have to like sci-fi and be willing to face the vacuum of space to venture into this game, but unless you only play arcade slots Shooting Stars has the potential to keep you entertained.

One Epic Spacewalk

The basic rules in Shooting Stars are as straightforward as in any modern slot game, and controlling the 5×3 reel setup should be a no-brainer for most gamblers. Simply click on the plus and minus buttons under the reels to adjust your wager and activate the paylines that you want to bet on. You can bet from 0.40 to 100.00 per turn in total, which is a very comfortable betting range that should satisfy most gamblers. Gamble your prizes to try and double each win, or use the autoplay mode if you would rather stick to the same wager for a while.

Shooting Stars sticks to a standard variance and gives you roughly equal chances to win, big or small, at every spin. The paytable itself is filled with card icons shaped like beautiful stars and planets, galaxies and a close up of the sun, with a maximum reward set at 250 your current bet value.

Supermassive Bonus

There is only one bonus feature available in Shooting Stars, but it brings several special effects to the game. The supermassive star symbol can appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and plays the part of the wild card. This giant symbol expands on the reel it appears on to cover it entirely and give you plenty of chances to complete extra winning combinations across the screen.

On top of this, each time a wild expands the other reels will respin once for free. This will give you another chance to score more combinations, and perhaps more wilds to keep the reels spinning for free a little longer.

A Feast for the Eyes

Shooting Stars is a relatively simple slot game that stands out mostly thanks to its gorgeous graphic universe. You will feel like you are sitting on board of a spaceship soaring through the cosmos at several times the speed of light, on the lookout for some space junk worth thousands of credits.

On the down side, Shooting Stars is really not very generous in terms of bonus features. We could have used a proper free spin bonus instead of a simple respin, which never really manages to trigger a proper series of free games. Space Adventure from PlayPearls is another, more low-key cosmic slot game that does award up to 40 free spins for the lucky players, just in case you were looking for an alternative.
