Pizza On the Menu
This game may not the most complicated slot you’ll be served all year but it can definitely cook up some good winning opportunities. This Italian cooking themed game certainly goes down the stereotype road. An Italian chef with a big handlebar moustache cooking pizza for his loving customers. He probably sings opera, supports Juventus and loves voting in the many General Elections they seem to have in that country.
It’s all good fun though and this Microgaming release is bound to put a big smile on your face, even if it might make you a little bit hungry. It’s probably time to get on the phone and order a pizza takeaway to enjoy while trying to get some good wins out of this game.
The top left of the screen sees the actual reels which you hope will be spinning in your favour as much as possible. Directly below that you see the hero of this slot with his pizza and a rather large ‘Belissimo’ logo underneath. It’s a bright and cheerful look which is always appreciated. The backdrop to the game is a red and white chequered tablecloth. Rather than all the details of the winning combinations being set on a different screen, that’s not the case here. Instead all the information you need is given in the paytable on the right hand side of the screen.
Operating the game isn’t at all difficult. The control buttons are down at the bottom of the screen and you can adjust your stake for each spin of the reels if you so wish with the pay-lines a fixed number. If you want to activate all five of the pay-lines in this game, then the minimum cost of doing so is €0.25. The maximum cost is just €25 so not too hard to find a level you can comfortably play at.
Cooking Up Some Excitement
The symbols in this game aren’t the most exciting you’ll see. There’s the chef with a big smile on his face (perhaps Juventus won at the weekend), single, double and triple bars and a seven. That’s your lot and it’s the chef that will get you your best win here paying out 5000x your line bet for three in a row on the fifth pay-line (bottom left to top right). That of course does point you in the direction of activating all the pay-lines on each spin of the reels. Just work a budget out and stick to it. This isn’t the most expensive game to play but it’s best to only gamble what you can afford to lose.
If you can get three of the 7’s, then that wins you 80x your line bet and it’s 60x if three of the triple bars end up on a pay-line.
It’s amazing actually how this chef actually gets to cook any pizzas. He’s not just the highest paying symbol but also the wild in this game. He can substitute for all of the other symbols and that can hopefully get you some good winning combinations.
There’s no bonus game here but that’s to be expected in such a simple slot as this. Don’t let that put you off though because there are still some good wins to be had here.
Final View from the Kitchen
A really simple and straightforward game. It may not be as complex as the ones you are used to playing but it’s still fun. It has a good look to it but the soundtrack could be a bit more Italian to be honest. The symbols aren’t that exciting either, why not have some more theme-related ones rather than all those bars. There are some good wins to be had here though and if you’re new to slot games then this is a good introduction for you.
