Mind the Net!
As we all know, there are various different rules to playing a game of tennis, just like video slots have their own rules and interfaces. Centre Court offers up a total of five different reels and three rows to go alongside, which is actually a fairly standard layout for such a product. On these reels, you’ll find various different tennis-related symbols, which begin with the regular offerings of A, J, K, Q and 10. These have all had tennis balls added to their design, while the tennis ball itself offers up another of the game’s icons. The winner’s trophy is also an icon on the reels, as are various different players. Two of these are female tennis players, while the other two are men, and all of them are in mid play, attempting to win the game, set and match. Finally, the highest paying standard symbol is the one which reads ‘Match Point’.
As well as its general layout, Centre Court also offers up a total of nine different pay lines, although players do have the chance to customise this particular feature, simply by using the ‘Lines’ button. Alternatively, you can click on a specific number down either side of the reels in order to have that amount of lines active. Furthermore, all players have the option of changing the value of a single coin around, which has a range between $0.01 and $1 per active line. Then, you’ll need to decide how many of these coins you want to wager per line, which offers up a range between one and 10, and if you have all nine pay lines activated, this means you will be playing a maximum overall wager of $90 per spin.
See if You Can Hit an Ace!
While it may not be graphically so advanced as many other slot games, Centre Court does have some redeeming qualities in its special features. This starts with the aforementioned tennis ball icon, and this works as its scatter symbol. These will provide a pay out regardless of where they appear on the reels, and should you manage to spin five of these in any location, you’ll receive a multiplier of times 500 your bet placed. Three or more of them showing up will trigger the freespins feature on top of this. You’ll be granted a total of 18 freespins, with up to a five times multiplier being active throughout the round. Furthermore, freespins can be re-triggered during the round as well.
The winner’s trophy is the one that acts as this game’s wild symbol, substituting for any other icon on the reels in order to form a win, with the exception of the previously mentioned scatter. Five of these showing up on a winning pay line will reward you with a pay out of up to 1,000 coins, depending upon the wager you have placed. As an extra perk to this icon, it appears stacked during the freespins feature round, offering up stronger chances of wins being formed.
The final addition to this product is its ‘Gamble Feature’, and this is triggered at the end of every win formed during the base game. Here, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button to be in with a chance of increasing your winnings. You simply need to guess the colour or the suit of the face down playing card. Getting the colour right will double your winnings, while choosing the correct card suit will quadruple them. Of course, an incorrect guess will see all your winnings lost.

We love tennis as a sport in general, but the fact that there’s a slot game dedicated to it from Microgaming as well makes it all the better. This product provides wonderful added features as well as decent general game play on top, so you’ll never have to miss out on your daily dose of tennis ever again.
