Every summer people head to Ibiza and they aren’t looking for a quiet relaxing time. They go there to party at all hours and probably end up on a reality TV series on some obscure channel. That fate doesn’t await you if playing this slot, unless the big wins come along and you buy that air fare!
‘Party Island’ is a five-reel game that has just the nine pay-lines on its three rows of cartoonish looking symbols. It’s up to you how many pay-lines you are going to activate for each spin of the reels and how many coins (between one and five) you will choose to play. The minimum cost of playing ‘Party Island’ is just €0.09 and the maximum €45. Not a game for high rollers but they are probably already in Ibiza anyway.
The symbols in this game certainly get you in the party mood. There’s some beach babes in bikinis, a beautiful sunrise most people see when finally getting home, some holidaymakers dancing away in the club, some drinks to enjoy while on the beach and a DJ. We also get the nine to Ace playing card symbols which don’t fit in with the theme at all.
The Party Just Got Wild
The wild symbol in this slot is the Party Island logo and not only can it substitute for other symbols to help get wins, those wins are doubled. Five of the wild symbols on a pay-line wins you the top prize of 10,000x your line bet. It can’t replace the Glitter Ball which is the scatter symbol here. Five of those anywhere on the reels will see your total bet multiplied by 750 so keep a look out for them.
This isn’t one of the most complicated games you’ll ever play, but bit of research before playing it for real is recommended. It’s a bit like working out where the best places to go on Party Island are. I went on holiday once and found a great bar while on the way back to the station to go home! Have a good read through the paytable and then have some free games too in order to see how all the features in the game work.
All the control buttons are down below the reels, there’s no problem at all setting your stake and spinning the reels.
If you get three of the Glitter Ball symbols appearing anywhere on the reels that’s great news because it gets you 15 free spins. The good news continues because any wins you then get are tripled. Even better, the free spins can be re-triggered if those scatters make appearances in triplicate again.
Gamble or Not?
After each win you get in the base game, there’s the chance to take a gamble and win some more cash. It’s not compulsory that you do because if you so desire, you could just take that win and go onto the next spin. If you do go for the gamble, then it’s the usual playing card game. Your task is to correctly guess the colour of the next card to double your win or the suit of the next card to quadruple it. Get the guess wrong and you lose your win, so be wary of this gamble.
A bright and colourful game that will get you in the mood to go on holiday. Will you be able to win enough to go on one and not Bridlington or Bognor? There are the chances to get some big wins here but the bonus game does take a while to trigger. Be careful with the gamble feature and don’t waste wins.
