These three-reel slot games from Microgaming are all reasonably similar in gameplay. One of the main features is that the company wants you to be playing the maximum number of coins on each spin of the reel. That’s how you get the game’s jackpot and ‘Party Time’ seems to be determined to persuade you to play three coins all the time.
Down in the bottom left-hand part of the screen is a banner proclaiming ‘Bet Max Coins’, not exactly being subtle are they? In the top right-hand corner there’s a big ‘3rd Coin’ banner showing you that three of the Party Time logo symbols will win you 9000x your coin stake If playing with three coins. Just work out how much you can afford to play on each spin of the reels.
Champagne All Round
The party atmosphere for this game is set right from the start with colours galore including blue, purple and gold. There’s what looks like a party hat but no one actually enjoying the festitivies. Perhaps they’re all in the kitchen as a lot of people end up doing, well I do anyway.
There are just the three-reels in this game and only the one pay-line. Those of you who are regular slot players will be used to the five-reel games with loads of pay-lines. This is still an entertaining game to play though with good chances to get some big wins.
The symbols are a mixture of those that are theme-related and those that aren’t. We get the Party Time logo and then a jukebox. Usually these games have a single, double and triple bar symbol, not so here. There are two single bar symbols but they get in the party mood. One has a cocktail glass and the other has a bottle of champagne. Other symbols include the cherries and purple 7’s.
Not a Wild Party
Although the Party Time logo is the best paying symbol in this game, it’s not the wild. Sadly, there’s no wild symbol in this game which is a bit of a shame. No bonus game or scatter either, this is just a case of spinning the reels and hoping luck is in your favour.
As you keep getting told in this game, to win the top prize of 9000x for three Party Time logos, you have to be playing all three coins. The coin range in this game goes from €0.25 to €5 so if you do want to keep playing those three coins, the minimum you’ll be spending is €0.75 and the maximum €15.
There are some other wins to aim for though with either 150x, 300x or 450x your coin stake for three of the jukeboxes (probably none of them playing a song you like) and either 70x, 140x or 210x for three purple 7’s.
It’s not at all difficult to play this game. All the control buttons are down the bottom of the screen. Just use the +/- to set your coin stake and then either keep pressing the Bet One button to set one or two coins in use or go the whole hog (as they so want you too) by pressing the Bet Max button.
This game can be played in either regular or expert mode. The difference being the ability to set an autoplay Handy if you need some time away from whatever device you’re playing this on. You can either play just 5x or 10x automated spins or set your own more precise amount. Full details of how to play this game are available by pressing the Help button.
Another entertaining three-reel slot from Microgaming. Don’t be going playing three coins all the time if you can’t afford it even though that 9000x jackpot would have you partying all night. There are other good wins to be had here.
