The Titaness of the Sun
The interface of this game presents its players with a total of five reels and three rows, so you’ve got a fairly familiar layout on which to spin the reels. It’s upon these reels that you’re able to see the various different symbols, starting with the regularly seen A, J, K, Q and 10 icons. In addition to this, there are three different thematic symbols, and the first of these two are exactly the same as what can be found in the Hyperion game – the fiery phoenix and the flame-haired white horse. The third and final one of these is the icon of Theia, and this appears stacked on all of the reels. Should five show up, you’ll find that there’s a maximum pay out of 5,000 coins.
In addition to the reels, rows and symbols, you’ll find that Microgaming have also included a total of 15 different pay lines. Players cannot customise these in any sort of way, so you’ll always be wagering on 15 lines. However, you do have the option of adjusting the wager that you place per spin, and this is done by first of all changing around the size of a single coin. This can be switched between $0.01 and $0.50, while the amount of these that can be wagered per pay line is changeable between one and 10. Therefore, players can place a maximum overall wager of $75 per spin.
The Goddess’s Special Features
You’ll find that while the majority of the icons included on the reels of this game are exactly the same as what can be found in the Hyperion offering, all of its special features are also exactly the same as well. This means that if you have played the other game, this one involving Theia should provide you with a fairly familiar set up as far as its special features are concerned. Therefore, you’ll find that the game’s logo is what provides it with its wild symbol, and as a wild, it will stand in for any other icon on the reels with the exception of the scatters. If five show up on the reels on a winning pay line, you’ll receive a maximum pay out of 10,000 coins.
Another of the game’s special features can be seen directly from the base game, and this is the ‘Stacked Mystery Symbols’. These are represented by the golden sun icon, and whenever they show up on the reels, they transform into any high or low paying symbol during the main game. During the freespins round, it can transform into any high, low or wild symbol.
And speaking of the freespins round, this is activated by the scatter icon. The scatter is the shot of Hyperion and Theia in the sky together, and these pay out wherever they show up on the reels. Scatter wins multiply your total bet staked by a specific amount, and five of them showing up on the reels will provide you with a maximum total coin pay out of 7,500 coins. You’ll need to spin three, four or five of these on to the reels in order to trigger 15 freespins, and all wins formed during this round will be multiplied by two.
Summarising the Game
It’s a shame that this game doesn’t take a more different approach in comparison to the other Titans of the Sun offering. The two of them together could really provide a nice series of games if they were a little alternative. But, the only different between them is the icon of each of the Titans. However, graphically speaking, and game play in general, it’s a wonderful choice to play.
