Your gaming screen is a rich red colour and your reels are placed centrally. In between your reels you will notice orange lines – these are your paylines. To the right of the reels is the paytable which shows the different paylines and winning combinations.
The gaming screen is very uncluttered and easy to navigate, due to the lack of options on display. The lower of the reels is where the betting options are situated.
Symbols you will find on the reels are; double bars, plums, lemons, oranges, cherries, single bronze 7s, double silver 7s and golden triple 7s.
Play the Game
Before you dive into the fruity action, you need to set your bets. Use the control panel to the lower of the reels to get to the stake you’re comfortable with. You can view your current credit, last win and bet on this control panel and there are buttons to the paytable, autospin, gamble and start.
To set those reels spinning, just click the start button. If you want to sit back without having to do anything, select the amount of spins you want the machine to play out automatically (within the autospin feature). The reels will spin and you can just watch until you they end or you wish to take back control of the start button.
The highest paying symbol on the reels is the golden triple 7s, three of a kind will award a 1,500 coin non-progressive jackpot. The second highest paying symbol on the reels is the silver double 7s, then the bronze single 7s.
Disappointingly there is just the one feature to tell you about with the Seven’s slot machine – this is the gamble feature. So, basically, like all Novomatic slots, whenever you spin in a win on your paylines, that shadowed gamble button lights up and invites you to go for double or nothing.
Our opinion is that the machine gambles enough on your behalf, so why gamble again? Naturally, if you’re looking to double your cash, you click the button and the new game screen will show you a deck of playing cards face down, along with red and black options.
Choose the colour you think the next card drawn will be to win. Correct guesses will double your win whilst incorrect guesses eat up all of your wins, including the original line win.
Is It Worth It?
If you are a slot player who looks for classic fruit machines, then you will love the Sevens slot from Novomatic. There are no features (other than the gamble option) to write about, so all of the wins will come from the base game – by spinning those reels. There are no wilds, scatters, multipliers or bonuses to boost your reels – just the standard symbols that you will need to match 3 of a kind of to win.
In our opinion, Sevens is lacking a shed load, but that’s probably because we love slot machines that have added excitement and at least wilds and scatters to keep our hopes of winning up. You have to go all or nothing if you want to win big with this online slot machine, which will put those minimum stakes slot players off.
There is a demo version of Sevens available, this allows you to test it with a certain amount of bonus credit. No need to waste your cash to see how basic it is, just play for free in demo mode. Don’t forget, if you want to win what you are spinning in on your reels, you will have to play for real.
