Welcome to the Dark Side
Power Force Villains is taking players to a secret location, an underground lab that serves as the villains’ lair. Complex machines, tubes, wires, buzzing devices, everything is high tech and ready to produce weapons and armours. Anything you would need to take over the city, and the entire world later on.
Power Force Villains sticks to a classic comic book look, and that is exactly what we were expecting from the game. If you are a fan of the genre, then Power Force Villains is going to catch your eye right away. So keep your attention on the reels and let’s try to figure out how to operate all these machines together.
How to Play
Power Force Villains looks a lot like many other slot games on the market. First of all, you have 5 reels and 25 paylines to operate on, with a betting range going from 0.25 to 100 credits per turn. The settings menu will help you choose your next wager easily, and even activate the autoplay mode if you would like to play with the same bet over and over again.
Thanks to its low variance, Power Force Villains lets players score frequent small prizes. It will be up to you to bet as many credits as you can, and perhaps even go all-in, to increase the size of these rewards. You can pocket up to 10 times your bet in the base game, with symbols such as classic card icons and the 5 villains to help you out: Clown, Spy, Gadget, Fire and Strong.
Power Force Villains is really rich in bonus features, which is great news. Use the wild to win extra cash prizes by scoring extra combinations, or try to spot as many large symbols as you can. These 3×3 blocks act like 9 identical symbols on the reels, and appear quite often during the game. These features are already quite useful, but they are actually only the tip of the iceberg in Power Force Villains.
Try to spot the bonus symbol at any time during the game to initiate the Villains Take Over bonus round. Pick the right icons to win 1, 2 or 3 free spins, or just as many super free spins. In the latter, only the most valuable symbols will appear on the reels. Finally, combinations of silver or gold jackpot symbols can unlock the corresponding big wins. Note that you can find them in the base game or during the free spins.
Two Sides of the Same Coin
Power Force Villains is the companion slot game of Power Force Heroes. As their names suggest plainly, each of the games is taking a different side. Practically speaking, both of them are based on the exact same gameplay and bonus features. In our experience, Power Force Villains tended to be a little more generous overall.
Dragon’s Loot by Microgaming has a totally different look, but happens to be quite close to Power Force Villains in terms of basic gameplay. You will start with the same elements and have roughly the same chances of hitting cash prizes in both games. On a side note, Dragon’s Loot is more generous in terms of free spins than Power Force Villains.
Pick a Side and Stick to It
Power Force Villains is the exact mirror of Power Force Heroes. If you have played one of the two, then you know the other just as well. The only differences are purely aesthetics, so think about which side of history you would like to be on before you make your choice. The rest will be up to luck entirely.
Taken on its own, Power Force Villains is a dynamic slot game with a lot of bonus features to offer. This alone is a great reason to give it a try, even if each individual reward of the paytable is rather low. You will have to take risks, play big and see where luck takes you this time around. Power Force Villains has a real potential to get you addicted, so be warned.
