The design of Dragons Mystery has been designed with an element of cuteness about it, because a few of the dragons that appear on the reels look like they are harmless and would do you no harm at all.
The reels are placed within a field of lush grass and stone mountains and dark skies, if you look closely you will see a dragon sitting on top of a fortune – this is the dragon that will award the jackpot. There are signs that many have come to conquer the reels and extract a fortune, but all have failed – you can see that by the majority of swords, armour, daggers and skeletons sitting in the field.
The symbols that make up this slot machine are; golden dragon coin, amber dragon, blue dragon, purple dragon, green dragon and blue, brown, green and purple dragons eyes.
Featuring 5 reels and 10 paylines, Dragons Mystery slot game allows you to control the game to suit your budget. The 10 paylines are not fixed, so you can choose to play one or all 10. You can toggle through the bet per line from 0.10 up to 0.50 a line – to give you the maximum bet of 50.00.
The non-progressive jackpot of 2,500 can be won by betting maximum stakes and spinning in five of a kind of the amber dragon symbols.
Look out for the blue dragon symbol as it will award a 1,200 for matching five of a kind.
When it comes to features, Dragons Mystery isn’t exactly bursting with them – but it does offer three features that can award serious amounts of cash.
- Wild: the golden dragon coin is the wild and has the power to transform into all other symbols to help create a winning payline.
- Expanding wild: when the wild lands on your reels, it will expand to cover the whole reel and will produce a free spin. The expanding wild will remain locked in place for the free spin to hopefully form winning combinations.
- Win both ways: You can win from left to right like standard online slots and you can win from right to left.
To be fair, Dragons Mystery is not the most thrilling online slot machine available, but it hides the potential to win up to a staggering 2,500 – and for a non-progressive jackpot slot, that’s a great amount of cash.
We found the game to be a medium to high variance slot and although wins were few and far between, when they did come in they were not to be sniffed at.
During one spin of the reels at maximum stakes, we triggered three free respins and were awarded a mega win of 18,000 – that’s one heck of a win for a 50.00 stake. This was a win that combined wilds and a 16x multiplier.
The graphics and sounds are superb, but what really ticks the box for us is the winning potential. We recommend you try the game in demo mode first, as this will allow you to get a feel of how the game is played. There are limited features to the game, but this doesn’t affect the winning potential in any way. We found that we won more on this slot game compared to slots with far more features.
The return to player (RTP) percentage is 96.16%.
