There is no denying that gamblers (and critics) have a lot of time for Yggdrasil Gaming right now, as the developer seems to have nothing but pure creativity to showcase to the world. Players of all demographics have begun to demand new games that think outside the box, with Yggdrasil Gaming stepping up to deliver.

While some of the developer’s titles do attempt to keep at least one foot in the realm of “normality”, its latest offering certainly doesn’t. Draglings is a weird (yet wonderful) title that certainly has online slots fans talking.

Now, by taking a single look at Draglings you are going to see that the game is rather odd in appearance, but don’t be fooled, as this game delivers more than intriguing looks alone. As the following details, Yggdrasil Gaming may have just hit the market with a fresh new game that rewrites the rules.

Purrs, Coos, and Plenty of Fire

In theme, this is a game that you’re going to have to take as it is. The actual setting for the Draglings appears to be a colourful looking cave, which comes complete with spiky rocks and jagged edges. Being honest, the odd UI and design of Draglings is something we have never seen before. Full sized dragons have been addressed time and time again in the past, but baby dragons have by no means received the same degree of attention. What helps move the theme of this game along is the sound effects it makes use of, as you’re going to hear plenty of dragon purrs and coos.

The symbols in Draglings are pretty much just obscure as the rest of the game, with the reels being dominated by a whole host of different dragon eggs. These eggs have a distinct glow to them, but it’s what’s in and amongst these eggs they give the reels here some additional pop. Spiting fire and delivering plenty of slots fun, there is no denying that the odd theme of Draglings has plenty going for it.

Hatching a Jackpot

While it’s certainly not a negative, what you’ll find is that many Yggdrasil Gaming releases play the same way. In that sense, Draglings is something that most fans of the developer will be able to navigate without too much trouble.

What is different about Draglings when compared with other Yggdrasil Gaming titles is the fact that it features a truly ramped up to the max 40 paylines, which actually play both ways (20 right to left and 20 right to left). Wagers start at 0.20 and go all the way up to 40.00 in this game too, so there is a very approachable betting range to work with.

It should also be noted that Draglings features an autospin mode, which allows any player to put his or her feet up and watch the action unfold without a second thought.

Emerging Through the Flames

No online slots game in this day and age can afford to not have a selection of bonus features. Draglings isn’t the most diverse Yggdrasil Gaming in this regard, but it still has plenty on show to tempt players in. The different wild symbols (determined by the coloured eggs) lead the way here, with the red egg securing you up to 750 coins as a reward. On top of this, there is the baby blue dragon, which serves as a standard wild, replacing other symbols in the game to help complete an active payline.

Free spins can also be earned in this game. By finding the fireball symbol you can secure yourself up to 75 free spins. Considering that most games seldom offer over the 50 free spins mark, Draglings really has raised the stakes here.

Baby Dragons Deliver Big Action in Draglings!

Yggdrasil Gaming is a developer on a hot streak, with this game proving that the brand is showing no signs of cooling down. Admittedly, Draglings is a somewhat odd game, especially within its theme, but its gameplay and playability simply can’t be denied.

Any real money slots game fan that is after a touch of medium variance action with an eccentric twist needs to check out Draglings!
