Ainsworthu2019s The Enforcer is just the latest in a long line of games to revisit 19th century America when lawless men and lawmakers frequently clashed and everyone kept a six-shooter close at hand. In many respects, The Enforcer sticks with the tried and tested formula that characterises most of these games.

      The Enforcer Slot Review

Ainsworth’s The Enforcer is just the latest in a long line of games to revisit 19th century America when lawless men and lawmakers frequently clashed and everyone kept a six-shooter close at hand. In many respects, The Enforcer sticks with the tried and tested formula that characterises most of these games.

There’s a wooden backdrop, nailed together in haphazard fashion as if it were the information board in a one-street gold mining town, there are bullet holes everywhere, Wild West typeface everywhere and symbols that include a steam train and a cowboy riding his horse. The graphics are super sharp though, giving The Enforcer a clarity that automatically moves it to the front of the line or thereabouts for Wild West slots.

A Force to Be Reckoned With

In The Enforcer you’ll be doing just that as you seek your own form of justice, one that involves unearthing as much gold as possible and promptly pocketing it. This is a 20-payline slot, one with a line bet that can be set between 0.01 and 100, allowing you to wager up to 2,000 per spin. Lest you needed any further proof of the stakes that can be won and lost in this game, you can set a loss limit for The Enforcer capped at 50,000 and a win limit of 508,000,000. Phew.

The Enforcer isn’t one for the faint-hearted then, not once you crank those bet levels up at least. That’s when it’ll take nerves of steel not to jack it all in after a handful of barren spins in succession. The number of paylines can be adjusted incidentally, if you desire, using the slider control in a submenu that’s accessible by clicking on the gearwheel icon. The paytable information for this slot is kind of tucked away, but when you do unearth it (again via the gearwheel icon) you’ll find it to be comprehensive, detailing everything worth knowing about this 20 payline slot.

      Mosey On Over

The playing card symbols are worth as much as 15,000 for 5 with the maximum bet set. The themed symbols have been beautifully designed and include a pistol and holster, sheriff’s badge, cowboy and horse, steam train and the sheriff himself, posing with a pair of crossed pistols. The sheriff is also the game’s scatter symbol and will activate free spins when you land three such symbols anywhere in view. 8 free spins will be awarded, with the potential for a cattle brand wild symbol to remain locked in position while you collect your spins. At the same time, the scatter symbol will temporarily assume the role of wild as the sheriff appears on reels 1 and 5, substituting for other symbols.

      Other Slots to Spin

The closest game to The Enforcer in terms of bet levels is Thunder Cash. That’s because it too is an Ainsworth slot, one that has the same number of paylines and free spins and which allows you to set the same maximum bet per spin of 2,000. Thematically it’s very different though, for Thunder Cash is a classic slot set in a casino. In terms of slots by other developers, there are a few options you could try. These include Mugshot Madness, a Microgaming slot, and Lightning Wild, a 20 payline Novomatic slot that’s worth checking out.

      The Enforcer Conclusion

The Enforcer is a great game if you’ve got the financial means to play it to its full potential. As a low to medium variance slot, it’s easy enough to claim small wins on the board, though you’ll need more sticking power and more credits if you’re to trouble the free spins and big money wins that this game comes bearing. Visually, The Enforcer is a treat, with some arresting visuals that elevate this slot above the many other Wild West slots to have been brought to market. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but The Enforcer is still an extremely pleasing game, despite nursing a relatively low RTP, at under 94%, and a relatively high maximum bet at 2,000 per spin.
