Are you tired of all of these games that seem to be made for children and teenagers only? Everywhere you look, all you see is ancient civilisation themed slot games, cute slot games, scary slot games, but nothing for the “adult” audience. Madame Pain is here to change that, thanks to its seemingly over the top, 50 Shades of Grey inspired S&M theme.

That’s right, you’ve read that correctly, this is a game specifically made for adults, well, to be precise, it’s made for those that are interested in the world of bondage, hence the name. If we’ve grabbed your attention with the detailed introduction to this review, we certainly suggest that you keep on reading!

Entering the Saucy Boudoir

The game’s loading screen is not something that we can just ignore, since it instantly grabs our attention. First of all, we notice the fact that we’re in a torture chamber, in which we can see that there are plenty of nailed planks on the walls and a wooden contraption that has a lot of ropes and chains strung on it. On second glance we can spot a couple of mannequins heads on the wall, and a cupboard that’s filled to the brim with other questionable objects. The design of the reels is just as kinky as you’d expect. The reels in this game are separated by a strong-looking chain, which indicates the fact that winning money is not your only goal in this game. The soundtrack that plays while you spin is very relaxed, although it does sound kind of surreal at times.

Symbol wise, the game is again very inventive. There are two symbols with numbers on them, one of the being 6 and the other 9. Then we have four letter symbols, these being S, L, U and T. Although these do not offer that big of a reward they are the most common symbols in the game, so you’d better get used to them.

Serving up Some Serious S&M

Gameplay wise, the game is not all that complex through its 5 reels, 3 rows, and 15 paylines. In fact, it’s about as simple as it gets. All you do is choose how much you want to bet per spin (between 0.45 and 45.00) and then you hit the spin button. If you want to go all out, then you can press the Max Bet button and if you want to sit back and enjoy the scenery then you can just activate the Autoplay mode.

In typical Booming Games fashion, the Double or Nothing round can be activated after every win. You can gamble up to ten times in a single hit, but the game doesn’t allow you to go over 10,000 in winnings. You can split your winnings in half and gamble that side if you want to though, so it does allow players to mix things up.

Bondage Driven Bonuses

Bonus wise there isn’t too much to talk about in this medium variance game. Madame Pain herself naturally represents the scatter symbol in this game. Aside from the high prize she offers, she can also trigger multiple free spins if you get this symbol between three and five at the same time on the reels. The wild of the game is a leather-clad woman. This symbol basically can substitute for any other symbol in the game except for the scatter. Also, on the fourth reel all of the symbols are wild, except for one that is a possible scatter from time to time.

To Spend a Night with Cleo

When we were asked to recommend real money slots that are similar to Madame Pain, we were more or less left scratching our heads. Theme wise you are going to find nothing (and we really mean nothing) that can match the overall adult look of Madame Pain. However, in gameplay terms there are a few more toned down offerings that may be of interest.

Picking out two titles in particular, A Night with Cleo and Pin Up Girls but iSoftbet both have borderline adult themes, while they have the power to match Madame Pain when it comes to gameplay in our humble opinion.

It’s No Pain, No Gain with Madame Pain!

Let’s be honest, Madame Pain is definitely a game made for a very specific audience. If you’re interested in the general theme then go for it because for once, this game actually delivers on everything it offered. However, if innocent online slots action is what you’re after, we’d suggest that you avoid Madame Pain at all costs.
