Let the winners see the slot! If you’re a fan of Paddy McGuiness and enjoy his TV series then Take Me Out: Date Night by Fremantle will be a real treat for you to indulge in. If you’ve never seen the show, then be prepared for a glitzy, brash take on love, romance and dating although it has to be said that the slot is easier to endure than the programme itself.

Silhouettes, pink and sparkle are the order of the day and on the reels you’ll find all kinds of symbols which represent the seduction of the opposite sex. Hot lips and Cupid’s arrow are just two of the items which materialise when you spin, but will you be lucky in love tonight? Here’s a review of Take Me Out: Date Night from Fremantle with all of the info you need.

Step Onto the Set

Take Me Out is based on the TV show of the same name and all of the styling for the game is based on this. The five reels appear to be set in the middle of the stage so you’ll feel as if you’re slap bang under the spotlight. The background around you is clearly the usual setting for the TV show so you’ll have to get ready to show off your best side as you begin to play…

The 5 reels are extremely bright – and themed primarily in pink! – and incorporate a total of 20 paylines in the game. You can choose to lower the number of paylines if your budget can’t stretch to activating them all. This is easily done using the toggle keys on the main control panel. However, instead of reducing the number of paylines in play you could simply adjust the total bet per line. This is done at the opposite side of the control panel where you can start the betting per line from just 0.01 and increase it right up to 25.00 per line. This provides a total min bet of just 0.20 and a total max bet of 500.00, a great range of betting for both small and large budgets.

A Little Extra

When you’re looking for that special someone, it’s all about having that little extra that makes them stand out from the crowd. And it’s no different with slots either, as the run of the mill games that don’t offer any features or bonuses can struggle to drum up any interest. So that’s perhaps why the developers decided to take no chances here and added a full complement of features to guarantee this title wouldn’t get overlooked.

The wild is a feature common to many slots and it’s included here too. Symbolised by bright pink lights and a male silhouette, this tile can stand in for others on the reels and make it easier to line up a winning combo. There are three different types of scatter symbols and each of them unlock a different bonus when you land three on the board: Fernando’s Bonus, Bring On The Girls bonus and No Likey No Lighty Ladder. Fans of the shows will recognise some of these names but you’ll just have to play the slot for yourself to discover the delights that lie in store!

Love Is in the Air

If you’ve haven’t been struck by Cupid’s arrow just yet but are keen to keep trying, or perhaps you’re just a sucker for a happy story, there’s lots of romance and love themed slots in the market. From the saucy to the sloppy, there’s everything you can imagine but Doctor Love from Microgaming is probably a close match for this game. Both are rather cheesy and focus on fun rather than serious matchmaking, so if you enjoy Take Me Out then call on the Doctor for your next appointment. Also offering 20 paylines there’s both free spins and a bonus round too plus an RTP of 95.04%.

Join Paddy

The host of the show, Paddy McGuiness, is incorrigible and if you join in the fun you’re certain to have a fun time! Take Me Out: Date Night from Fremantle is an online video slot which follows the format of the show loyally and creates the same atmosphere in a game. Just like many other Fremantle titles, there’s an abundance of bonus features which are inventive and well designed, so if you can handle the garish design, there’s the chance of a big win!
