About Genesis Gaming: A History
The Genesis team was formed in 2008 using the backbone provided by software experts with decades of experience in the gaming industry. Although original founder Steve Meistrich departed in 2013, Genesis Gaming has continued to forge new partnerships, and in 2014 released its 100th title.
Mobile gaming has been a particular target for the company. HTML5 slots have been adapted for online and mobile platforms via the company’s bespoke ConceptionXD technology. The first of those games were released to great fanfare, and more are in the pipeline.
However, the lucrative social gaming market has also been earmarked for expansion. A growing US market has made titles like Machine Gun Unicorn a massive hit. In 2015, Genesis provided Big Stack Technologies, a major US social casino provider, with a whole suite of games.
Earlier in 2016, Genesis signed an agreement with social casino developer, Ruby Seven Studios. The partnership will allow Ruby Seven to license some of Genesis’s content for use in major live casinos like Pechanga Resort. It will also make it easier for Genesis to get a hold of the lucrative social casino market.
Genesis Gaming Mobile And Online Slots
You can now play around 160 Genesis Gaming slots for desktop or mobile devices.
HTML/Flash Slots: Genesis Gaming is known for its cross-platform slots, which work on multiple devices. Graphics and animation tend to be high-end, and games can be found in 25, 40 or 243-payline varieties. Interesting added features unique to the developer can also be found.
Popular titles include Ragnarok, a slot similar to Microgaming’s Thunderstruck. The slot’s highlight is the ‘Graduated Feature’ element where bonuses can be ‘unlocked’ during play.
On the other end of the theme spectrum is Euro Golden Cup, a sports-themed slot with 25 paylines. Like Ragnarok, however, the emphasis here is on unlocking features. Players get to ‘progress’ through the game, receiving tokens as they hit certain symbols. These in turn release new levels and bonus features.
Vegas Line: Released in late 2015, the ‘Vegas Line’ series of slots takes advantage of a huge social casino market in the US. Games include Bier Fest, a 5-reel slot with multiple bonus rounds, and Machine Gun Unicorn. The 5-reel slot features 10 paylines and a ‘Symbol Bomb’ feature. Both games can also be played for real money at European-facing online casinos.
Genesis Gaming: Other Games
More and more, Genesis is focussing on its social casino offerings. Around half the company’s titles can be enjoyed at social casinos, including top slots like The Great Cashby, Haunted Night, and Leprechaun Legends.
