It’s time to get all romantic and mushy in this slot from Microgaming. There may only be three reels in this slot but there’s of action guaranteed and some big wins along the way.

With a distinctly romantic theme, this is going to have you remembering the days when three reels ruled the roost and there were more bars than a busy city centre.

Time for Romance

Which comes first, rings or roses?  I’d have thought it was the first as you use them as part of your romancing, then pop the question. Well that’s a debate for another article, I’m here to write a review of this great three-reel slot from Microgaming.

This is one of those games that pays homage to the slot games that ruled the roost in days gone by. If you’re new to playing slot games, this is ideal as a gentle introduction. Its rules are fairly straightforward and there’s none of the complex bonus games that the five-reel games tend to have. Don’t let that put you off playing this game though as there are plenty of reasons to be playing this and winning some big cash prizes.

Rather than all the information being spread out over a couple of screens, everything is all on the one screen in this three-reel game. It’s not a cluttered look though with the reels in the top left-hand corner and the Roses & Rings logo underneath. All the details of how much money you can win dominate the right-hand side of the screen.

Love is in the Air

The only symbol that is theme-related in this slot is the Rings & Roses logo. There’s some gorgeous looking red roses and some diamonds too. It’s a shame that there aren’t any other theme-related symbols. The Yellow 7’s nearly get in the mood with a diamond attached to it. Then there’s the bells (wedding bells?) and single, double, and triple bars.

The Rings & Roses logo is also the wild symbol in this slot and can substitute for other symbols. That’ll help get you some wins but sadly there’s no multiplier attached to any wins it creates.

The control buttons are down the bottom of the screen. There are five pay-lines in this game, just about the most you get with these three-reel slots from Microgaming. The coin range goes from €0.25 to €5. The next job you have is to decide how many coins to play on each spin of the reels.

Each coin you stake activates a pay-line and that’s so important when it comes to winning the top prize in this game. That’s because the top prize is only available when you get five of the Rings & Roses logos on the fifth pay-line. That wins you 6000x your line bet. If it comes up on the other four pay-lines, you win 1000x, 2000x, 3000x or 4000x so there’s an incentive to play all the lines, just be careful with that budget of yours.

To be able to win the top prize, the minimum cost of playing is. €1.25 and the maximum €. You won’t have any problems setting how many coins you want to play. Either keep pressing the Bet One button or go ahead and press the Bet Max button

Other big wins in the game see you winning 300x for three of the 7’s and 200x for three bells. It doesn’t matter how many pay-lines are in play for those wins, so if you haven’t got that much to play with, just aim for the smaller wins.

This game can be played in regular or expert mode. The difference is the ability to set an autoplay in the expert mode.

Love it?

Definitely worth a play with some decent wins to be had. There’s a good look to the game and despite the lack of a bonus game or a wild multiplier, the jackpot is well worth winning. Just be careful with your budget.
