You’ve probably played ‘Tomb Raider’ on your computers and now it’s time to have a go at winning some money on the slot version of the game. ‘Tomb Raider’ has been such a massive success with a number of best-selling games and some reasonably successful movies and now there’s this official slot from Microgaming. This means we get shots from the movie that this game is based on and that really makes this a special game.

It has five-reels and 30 pay-lines on three rows of impressive looking symbols. Those 30 pay-lines aren’t fixed so that means you can choose how many you wish to activate. The minimum cost of activating all the pay-lines is €0.30 and the highest charge per spin is €50. Just work out your financial budget and then just go for it and hope for good luck.

Lots of Lara to Be Seen

The symbols are really attractive to look at. That definitely applies to Lara Croft looking as gorgeous as ever in her black costume. Don’t let that take your mind off the game though. We also get to see Lara riding a red motorbike, flying through the air while trying to shoot someone and scaling a wall, this is one woman with a very busy schedule. We also get the ten to Ace playing card symbols which are the lower paying symbols in this game.

The wild symbol is yet another image of Lara Croft. Keep an eye out for this one as it has the ability to substitute for other symbols in order to produce some wins for you. Not the green-tinged scatter symbol though as that’s the scatter symbol. This has the important job of helping to trigger the free spins bonus round so the wild isn’t allowed to help in that task. Nor can it assist the passport symbol (nearly full I should imagine) as that helps get you into the Global Adventure bonus game.

There’s certainly a lot going on in this game so some preparation is needed before you start playing it for real. Take a good look at the paytable which explains how much each of the winning combinations pays out. Also there’s plenty of information about the bonus games. Then have some free games to see what the game’s all about.

Bonus Games Aplenty

Free spins can be won when if you get at least three of the green fragment scatters anywhere on the reels. That’s handy as it means you don’t have to be activating all the pay-lines in order to be in with a chance of triggering it. Just play the one if you so wish.

You’re given ten free spins and a big advantage is that this has the Rolling Reels feature, something always guaranteed to get you some decent wins. When a winning combination comes along those that caused that win will disappear. That means some new symbols are required to fill the gap and others fall down into their place. That means a new-look set of reels is created and if there are any new wins created then that boosts your account balance even more. The process keeps getting repeated until the new set of reels created doesn’t produce a win. Even better each consecutive win will increase the multiplier by one up to a maximum figure of 5x.

Also there’s the Super Mode bonus which is awarded on a random basis during the base game. This gives you some five free spins and there are randomly allocate frozen wilds that can improve your chance of more wins coming along.

In a packed game there’s still the Global Adventure Bonus Round. This is activated when the passport symbol ends up on the centre spot on each reel. We then get to see a world map which has five locations – Tokyo, London, Ghana, Bolivia and Nepal. These each have six artefacts that you need to choose from including a sword fragment, hidden treasure or a trap. Get the sword fragment and you can look at the other locations. Two traps in one place will end the bonus round.

Final Words

A great game to play, everything is impressive from the way it looks to its soundtrack. The bonus games are excellent too with the rolling reels feature which is always great to see as it can be really profitable.
