Tribal Reels of Plenty
There’s little doubt that this product presents a familiar interface for regular video slots gamers, as it’s five reels and three rows large. Therefore, players shouldn’t have any issues with this layout. Upon its reels, Tiki Wonders houses some of the most tantalizing symbols of various different cocktails, including two which have been created in a coconut shell and a pineapple shell. Not only that, but there are a couple of tropical animal featured on the reels as well, which include a toucan perched on a tree branch, an iguana laying out on a rock, a dolphin jumping up from the sea, and a turtle who looks somewhat unhappy to be here. There are also a couple of other icons incorporated, which provide this game with its specials.
As far as the the bet lines go, there are a total of 30 of these, which accompany the reels and rows. Players do have the chance to alter this amount around at their own preference, simply by pressing the ‘Bet Lines’ button, or by clicking on one of the numbers down either side of the reels. Further customisation is possible by using the ‘Bet Level’ and ‘Coin Value’ buttons to alter your stake per spin around. The first of these buttons will change the level between one and four, while the second will allow you the possibility of switching the coin between its minimum of $0.01 and its maximum of $0.50 per active line. Therefore, you’ve got the chance of placing an overall high wager of $60 per round.
Sip a Cocktail While Playing These Specials
This game, like many others from Netent, features a variety of special added extras. The first of these relates to its wild icon, which is represented by the surfer who is wearing a tiki mask to cover his face. As a wild, he will substitute for all other icons on the reels, with the exception of jackpot and scatter icons, in order to form a winning combination. If five of these show up on a winning pay line, you’ll be rewarded with a maximum pay out of 10,000 coins.
There’s also a scatter icon involved in the game, which is the tropical hula dancer. These symbols pay out to players wherever they show up on the reels and they pay the total bet times a multiplier. Should three or more of them show up, you’ll trigger the game’s freespins round. This starts with you receiving a total of 10 freespins for three scatters, and then increases to 20 if four come into view, or 30 if five are spread across the reels. All freespins wins pay out a win times by three, although this excludes any jackpot wins and any additional freespins earned.
And speaking of winning one of the jackpots, players will be able to see the two of them on offer above the reels. These are the Wonder Jackpot and the Mega Wonder Jackpot. There isn’t any kind of special game or feature that you need to play in order to be the successful winner of one. Instead, you need to spin regular symbols with golden stars attached to them on to a winning bet line. The stars can be attached to any of the icons, and if you spin four, you’ll get the Wonder Jackpot, while five of them will pay out the larger Mega Wonder Jackpot.
A Tropical Feast
This is one of Netent’s few progressive slot games, and on the whole, it’s one of their average offerings in the genre. It’s not bad by any means, as it’s still filled with a nice amount of special features. However, when you look at others provided by the developer in this range, such as Cosmic Fortune or Mega Fortune Dreams, it doesn’t compare well enough with them to really be considered better. However, you’ll still get plenty of fun and games from Tiki Wonders.
