Silver Bullet Slot Review
Grab your pistol and put your boots on because you’re about to do some walking. Head to the Wild West to help the Sherriff capture the criminals and you could be rewarded with a 10,000-coin jackpot.
Playtech have created the Silver Bullet slot machine to bear a wild west theme – Clint Eastwood himself would be proud. We couldn’t help thinking about some of the most iconic films that were produced in the wild west, because of the running theme of this slot machine. We were half expecting the Ugly from ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly’ to jump out from the saloon doors with his pistol in one hand and a bottle of liquor in the other. There are 5 reels and 9 paylines to this video slot machine and despite the basic graphics, there’s some big winning potential offered to those who are brave enough to take on the criminals.
Bounty hunters are in for a treat as stakes can be placed from as low as 0.09. High rollers will be disappointed with the maximum stake limit in place, because you won’t be able to play more than 45.00 a spin. The only thing you will encounter on your quest is wilds and win spins as there are no bonus features offered.
Gun Slinging Theme
Silver Bullet slot machine is placed inside a saloon bar. The logo of the game is placed to the top of the machine with a bullet embedded into the wood. Paylines are stamped to the right and left in various coloured section. You can view your total bet, line bet and wins to a wooden strip running beneath the reels. You will find just 6 buttons to the control panel; the bet increase and decrease buttons, paytable, bet one, bet max and spin button.
To select your stake, you simply adjust those bet values and then the paylines to get to a value that suits your budget. If you don’t want to play all 9 paylines, you click the ‘bet one’ button until you reach the paylines you are happy with.
Horses, bank notes, horseshoes, pipe, cart wheel, hat, liquor, red 7s, bombs, barrels, sheriff badges and pistols can be found on the reels.
Big wins come to those who wait. Five of a kind of the barrels and you’ll trigger that 10,000 coin non-progressive jackpot. Based on the amount you stake will depend on the amount of cash you’ll receive – so someone playing minimum stakes will get a smaller cash jackpot compared to those staking 45.00 a spin. High value symbols include; bombs with 500 coins plus the red 7s, liquor, and hats with 200 coins.
Sadly, you won’t find any heart-pumping features on offer with the Silver Bullet slot machine. There are wilds and scatters only, but compared to some other traditional slots from Playtech, these are enough to boost your bankroll without hitting a base game win. The sheriff badge is the wild and this will substitute for every symbol on the reels (bar scatter) to help from winning combinations.
Keep your eye peeled for the pistol, as this is your scatter. You only need one in view to receive a cash payout. The more scatters in view – the bigger your cash return will be.
Hunting for Wins?
If you like the role of bounty hunting, then Silver Bullet slot machine allows you to do just that. Big rewards are waiting to be discovered and thankfully you don’t need to get into a pistol fight to win them. This is a medium variance slot machine with a return to player (RTP) percentage of 96.08%, so wins will fall regular on the reels.
When it comes to bonus features, there’s not a lot on offer to be honest, so you may get bored far too easily just by spinning the reels. The graphics and sounds are pretty basic, but the big wins on offer more than make up for that. If you are looking for simple game play with no distractions, this slot game is a must. Try before you buy with the free demo version via desktop, mobile or tablet devices.
